TRAINING COURSE REVIEW
The TruBlue Technologies "Operator Training Course", which is now being offered in the UK, is a ‘must do’ course. It is fantastic that the manufacturer of these devices has acknowledged the need for additional training and support for facility managers and climbing wall staff--a genuine knowledge gap that had existed until now.
The courses give participants an opportunity to ask questions and learn how the devices work, directly from the folks who make them. With additional hands-on instruction on how to complete webbing changes and inspection, there is nothing else available to gain competency. The day develops to look at operational guidance, running and managing all types of auto belayed facilities, along with common problems that occur.
I would encourage ALL staff whatever level, wall staff to managers, to take advantage of this excellent training opportunity."
