Product Details

The TRUBLUE iQ+ marks the largest leap forward in auto belay innovation in over a decade. Designed for both indoor and outdoor climbing walls, the iQ+ is the first and only auto belay device to offer advanced features like catch-and-hold technology.

As the premium model in our iQ series, every TRUBLUE iQ+ is trusted worldwide and engineered to last. The patented magnetic braking system is friction-free, delivering high cycle counts with low maintenance requirements and minimal wear on internal parts.

Features

  • Catch-and-Hold Technology: Allows climbers to rest and project routes.
  • Built for indoor and outdoor use.
  • High cycle count, minimal maintenance, and low cost of ownership.
  • Smooth descent: TRUBLUE is the only auto belay to utilize magnetic braking technology. Magnetic braking is extremely reliable (even in wet conditions), friction-free, and self-regulating, providing the same rate of descent regardless of a user’s size or weight.
  • Unassisted Ascent: Rather than pulling climbers up the wall, TRUBLUE gives users the most authentic climber feel, giving users the freedom to climb under their own power.
  • Improved Durability: The iQ series is equipped with wider webbing, a built-in back bumper, and replaceable mount guard.

Common Questions

Looking for a little extra help?
How is SafeLine used now?

TruBlue Safeline is one device with many missions. Currently, you can fine SafeLines in fire and utility worker training facilities, a crucial part of emergency egress systems for marine ferries, attached to machinery in dropped object protection plans, and more.

How often does a SafeLine need to be serviced?

TruBlue SafeLine requires service inspections 15 months after the manufacturing date and every 12 months thereafter to ensure a high standard of performance and safety. We offer a SafeLine Service Subscription program, which provides a quick swap for a recertified fleet device with zero downtime, as well as other benefits. You still own thedevice.

What mounting height is SafeLine compatible with?

SafeLine with 12.5m (41ft) webbing:

  • Maximum mounting height of 12.5 m (41 ft)
  • Minimum mounting height of 4.5 m (14.8 ft)

SafeLine with 20m (65.6ft) webbing:

  • Maximum mounting height of 20 m (65.6ft)
  • Minimum mounting height of 12 m (39.4 ft)

It is important to note that the maximum and minimum mounting height limits listed for all SafeLine models are requirements, not recommendations. To ensure safe operation, devices must be mounted within the specified mounting height range.

The mounting height for all SafeLine models is measured from the nozzle of the device to the ground.
